Our Bed & Breakfast, your personal retreat
Plan a relaxing retreat at the Habberstad House Bed & Breakfast, located in Lanesboro, in Southeastern Minnesota’s historic Bluff Country along the Root River.
Built in 1897, this beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home features welcoming parlors, a dining room with a view of the gardens, and five guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Or choose our private Carriage House, with its king bed, fireplace and spa bathroom. The beautiful landscaped yard includes a fountain and pond, flower gardens and numerous seating areas.
Come and see some of the changes we’ve made in the past few months. We painted the Heather Room a beautiful light color called Queen Anne’s Lace. Our Amish Suite now has two king-sized beds with beautiful new linens and Ekornes leather furniture in the sitting area. It is a lovely space for a quiet retreat. And we’ve added a loveseat, perfect for snuggling, in the Rose Suite.
In December 2018, we started our first big renovation…updating the Carriage House kitchen and bath, plus a new coat of paint and a new Ekornes leather sofa. We also updated our Amish Suite bathroom this winter, and are excited to share photos with you soon.
Please call to see if we can accommodate your special occasion whether you have a birthday or anniversary, a reunion with friends or are planning your honeymoon. And as a reminder, we are licensed by the State of Minnesota and the City of Lanesboro and are members of the Minnesota Bed and Breakfast Association and the Professional Association of Innkeepers International.
We love to have you here.
