This newly renovated and spacious suite has 2 private entrances, with one being uniquely positioned right on main street. It’s been grandfathered in as accomodations right off the sidewalk. There is a fully-equipped kitchen so you can stay in for the night and create a delicious meal together or take a quick stroll to one of Lanesboro’s many delicious restaurants. The bedroom is styled with a comfortable queen bed with beautiful blue seating area for two and a privacy screen. The large bathroom has a modern farmhouse charm with all the basic toiletries. The bright and large window lined living room has 2 futon couches that can expand for sleeping guests or just lounge on while watching a large smart TV. Wake up each morning to coffee, tea and a fresh pastry in your own suite, in our Coffee Commons or take a walk 2 blocks away to an all day breakfast nook called Home Sweet Home. The hotel is named for the direct access that you have to the Root River just across the street. The exterior has its original architecture of this 1888 building that was originally the home of Lanesboro’s 1st Mayor.
